Join for a fun and oh so fascinating class as we learn all about the incredible medicinal plants growing all around us. We’ll walk around English Point and identifying & snacking (if you want) on all the amazing plants. We’ll learn about their medicinal benefits, history, and how to use them for medicine & in emergency situations.
You’ll learn about plants for bloody noses, stomach flu, coughs & colds, pain, injuries, bug bites & bee stings, for treating wounds, headaches, and more. And I bet they’re growing in your yard too!
We quite literally live on a pharmacy, get ready to have your mind blown!
The goal of these classes is to empower you to care for your family in a whole new way, and to give you the tools in your backpack to not have to run to the pharmacy anymore but to be able to find the remedy right at home.
The Details:
This walk is very easy, appropriate for littles, grandmas and everyone in between. This hike is stroller friendly.
We’ll have all of our Tamarac Garden products available for purchase after the class as well. And as a thank you from us to you, all products are 20% on the day of the class.
What to bring:
-Comfortable clothing
-Shoes for mud (it could be quite muddy still)
-Paper & pen, you’ll definitely want to take notes
-Phone or camera, you’ll want to photograph the plants so you can identify them again.
